Produced for an exhibition at Galerie Beyeler in Basel, this poster demonstrates Picasso’s mid-1950s interest in portraiture and still life, rendered with confident line and economy of form. The lithograph reproduces his experimental approach to spatial organisation and figurative abstraction.


Galerie Beyeler, later renowned for its collection of modern masters, played an important role in presenting Picasso’s work to a wider European audience. This poster captures both the artistic and institutional significance of the period, providing a historical record while remaining visually arresting in its own right.
